Archontiko Eleni was built at the end of the 19th century by Alexandros Empirikos and it was intended as his residence. At first, it was changed into the local hospital, while during the last years it housed the High School of Andros Island. Nowadays, the building has been renovated with good taste by Eleni and Giannis Koutsoukos. It is consisted of 8 unique & lovely decorated rooms, all of them air – conditioned, offering TV, mini bar, telephone, shower and hair – dryer. They are all furnished tastefully, with perfect arrangement and a harmonious combination of colors. Archontiko Eleni constitutes a model of neoclassical architecture and modern functionalism for the island of Andros.
